Sessi melawat sekolah-sekolah haa..

Nothing much actually. Otak dah set sekolah mana nak hantar, so survey other schools adalah sekadar untuk mencukupkan syarat.

Tapi seriously.. Sekolah yang di survey tadi memang tak menepati citarasa. The classroom for KG1 (kindie for 3 years old kids), smaller than our 2nd bedroom. Dah la gelap je.. Harapkan lampu je, so, bilik tu terang. Next to KG1, is KG2. Yang ni lagi sadis.. Budak-budak yang besar sikit, kelas adalah sama besar dengan KG1. And they're using the school desk.

Macam KG1, pakai meja yang besar, colourful, ramai-ramai duduk situ. So tak nampaklah crowded sangat. Tapi yang KG2 tu.. Terkebil-kebil I tengok. Dah la mrja besar, classroom sempit, budak-budak tu nak keluar kelas pun bersempit-sempit.

Masa tengok KG1, I cakap dengan the kecik..

: This is the classroom. Say hi to your friends.

: Noooooooooooo!

Menangis-nangis. Menyorok belakang kaki I.

You see.. Anak I pun takut nak masuk. Dah la before tu, from the Admin office to the classroom, memang time recess, budak-budak semua berlari-lari. Ye la, time recess. What do you expect? Meanwhile budak-budak KG1 and KG2 still in their classrooms, having class. Tak ke terganggu?

I tanya the staff,

: What's the subjects for KG1?

: No subject.

: Books?

: No books.

I dah berkerut-kerut dah time kat sini. Lepas tu staff tu cakap,

: They only plsy, play and play!

That's not the answer I've been waiting for.

Tau laa yang budak umur 3-4 tahun adalah time main-main lagi. We dont want the kid getting tired with school thingy too early. Siapa suka tengok anak terbeban dengan sekolah?

Yes. We're sending the kecik to the school. I bet most of the parents, sent their kids to the school, in early age, to make the children find that school is a nice place. A fun place yet they still can learning something new. Tapi tak adalah sampai nak suruh budak umur 3-4 tahun tu study macam budak universiti.

Kita nak budak-budak tu rasa seronok dan belajar. And bila staff tu jawab macam tu, tidak puas hati adalah perasaan yang timbul.

I tahu laa yang any kindie pun most of the times, the kids are playing. Bukan buka text book, khatam sungguh-sungguh, daripada muka surat 1 sampai 88. Sampai semua index pun nak hafal. Tu tak payah laa.

At least the staff should say..

: They'll learn new things through fun ways!

Bukankah kindie adalah tempat untuk belajar dalam keadaan yang menyeronokkan? Dengan dinding warna-warni, crayon sana-sini. It's fun.

Janganlah cakap 'play, play, play!' je. I know. It's kindie. Tapi perlu ke cakap macam tu? At least make us, the parents rasa tak sia-sia bayar beratus-ratus sebulan untuk hantar anak ke sekolah.

Setakat play,. Ni haa.. Kat dalam stor rumah I pun boleh main. Even I know that they're all playing and games, tapi cakap tu try la convincing sikit. Dah la the teachers's class look so effortless. Ok. Ni memang tak ada effort. Rambut dah sikat belum sebelum masuk mengajar tu? Teachers pun dah tak berjaya menarik minat students, apatah lagi the parents kan?

It's not a good kindie, I can say.

Memang la anak I belum masuk kindie tu, tapi we can see the environment kan? Sekolah mana la tak bising.. Budak-budak. Yes. True indeed.

Yang memang tak puas hati..

It's a international school.

And parents are paying all the fees.

Bukan sekolah gomen.

Part mana yang international pun I tak tau..

Haihhh...

Kalau ikutkan I, nak je hantar budak bertuah ni sekolah arab campur mat salleh. I bet it's much more cheaper. And still they got all the best environment for the students.

Siapa yang tak nak nanti bila kita dah tak ada kat dunia ni, anak yang tolong bacakan doa untuk kesejahteraan kita di dunia sana. Siapa tak nak?
