Already?

Tot it's ages away..

Up to school means the kecik going to turning 3 years old. Dah besar panjang. Cewahhh. Ayat macam nak hantar anak masuk boarding. Walhal sekolah situ je punnnn.

Dah ada 3 buah sekolah I tengok. One, memang totally rejected. Now only 2 left. Ingat nak hantar yang dekat rumah, tapi.. Macam kurang berkenan la pula. The other one pula jauh. Jauh sikit. In terms of school fees, lebih kurang sama je pun. First time fees tu yang berbeza-beza. One refundable tapi the other one non-refundable. Yet, satu terms fees adalah terkebil-kebil nak bayar and satu lagi ok la. Not bad. I geram je nak hantar to the Islamic-English school. Tapi tak ada.. There's one school, Islamic oriented, they said. Tapi, our friends's kids belajar kat sana, tak ada pun belajar Arabic. English memang la confirm as lingua franca as that's how the education system works.

: Your son already go to school?

: Not yet. Maybe this August.

: Oh. My grandson already went to kindie. Nearby home. Just for kawan-kawan.

And I was likee.. Eh.. Bukan ke their driver hari-hari ulang alik ambil the grandson at school yang jauh sikit tuuu? Anywayyyyyy.. That's not the point.

Memang niat di hati nak bagi the kecik kawan-kawan pun. Friend with the mommy adalah kurang rock as hari-hari lukis flower, flower and flower again. Tapi when thinking about the school time.. I macam jatuh terjelepuk gitu.. Their school time for kindie is like going to office and take half day! I rasa dulu, time I, tadika kemas tu, pukul 8.30 or 9 gitu, then 12 dah balik rumah. Ini, 7.30 am. Office pun belum buka. Lainlah government. Lebih kurang macam timetable budak-budak sekolah rendah je.

Macam torture pun ada. Dulu am a bit worry with the kecik's nap. And now, the kecik dah tak nak tidur pagi. Most of the time, 10am stil terkebil-kebil mata atas katil. Dah dekat 12pm or 1pm, barulah terlelap. Then woke up at 2.30 or almost 3pm, minta 'fish'. 'Fish' = rice/bread with some meat. Tak kisahlah ayam or ikan or udang or daging.

One problem almost solved. Sekarang pula, the kecik dah celik mata at 6am. 6am, babe! Nak pergi sekolah ke apa? Time my sayang up for jogging routine, time tu la this budak bertuah bangun. Tidur malam, 10.30 baru nak tidur. Tu the latest. Eh. Pernah la sekali dua 12pm baru tertidur. Tu pun sebab ada functions at friends's house. Kalau tak, selalunya, the kecik memang dozzed off early. At 7.30 or 8.30 tu memang dah tidur.

I dont mind the kecik woke up early. Dengan syarat, tidur, the latest at 8.30pm. One thing I've noticed, makin nak masuk umur 3 tahun, makin kurang tidur budak-budak. If the kecik sleep at 9pm, 7am mesti dah bangun. Night sleep only 10hours and nap during daytime, 1 and 1/2 hour. If baik hati nak bagi I tenteram jiwa that day, the kecik will sleep for 3 hours.

Agaknya la kan budak bertuah ni gearing up for school. Bangun awal. Take nap at noon. Nanti if dah pergi school, bangun pagi for school, if school yang jauh sikit, mau before 7am, dah nak kena keluar rumah and nap after school time. Ok la tu kan. Cumaaa.. Ada cuma juga..

Borang nak pergi sekolah pun belum isi. Apatah lagi interview bagai. Deyyyy.. Sekolah budak-budak zaman sekarang. Interview bagaiii. Macam nak apply kerja pun ada. The first term of school will be on end of August. At that time, the kecik memang dah 3 tahun. Just nice. Sekarang. All that I need to do is to baca mentera banyak-banyak sikit to the husband's ears..

: Sayang.. Nak hantar baby pergi school. School. School. School.

Silap hari bulan the husband cakap..

: Haa.. Ok. Hantar ambil kat sekolah, sayang buat ye?

Mau I tergolek kat situ jugaaa. Sekolah tu dah la nak kena parents masak different dishes and (creative too! aka kawaii) for kids each day. Snacks time 2 times. Haa.. Dah terbersin-bersin den haaa..

Demi anak. Nak kata apo lagi haaa..
