Sebab my two boys suka sangat buat my blood go up up up, moh ler kita cari boyfriend baru.
Kita mula dengan gambar pertama. Nampak kereta sebelah kenari putih tu? Yang kaler hijau lumut tu, haa, itu Panamera.
The other day, I saw one pakcik, bawa Panamera, gi beli sayur dekat our place. Oh Pakcik! Panamera tu utk bawa gi beli sayur je? Pakcik memang awesome lah! Tapi I suspect he went to some offices dekat area sama dengan kedai sayur tu. Kedai sayur memang betul-betul bawah office. Tapi pakcik memang nampak awesome bila bawa plastik sayur and naik kereta Panamera. Korang ada? Haha.
I blame KL, actually. For making me into car-crazy-person.
Bila duduk KL, walhal 2-3 minggu je, time jammed je mesti I duk belek kereta orang tepi-tepi semua. Sungguh. And I think I know why Malaysian loves to change/upgrade their cars to the latest especially during Raya. Sebab every single day they've to face with traffic jam and hari-hari tengok ada je no plat baru yang muncul all together with those shiny brand new car, itu yang semua pakat 'Wow!' every single time ada nampak kereta baru. Sume pakat nak tukar. Kan. Kan.
Dah lama rasanya the kecik obsess with the Beetle. Maybe I'm the cause tapi lagi membuatkan the kecik fell in love with the Beetle sebab he's been watching Herbie Fully Loaded movie at the Disney's. Tu yang the kecik suka tu. Kan cerita tu Beetle ni laju berdesap desup. And since then. budak bertuah so in love with that car. Car mata katanya.
Pantang nampak tengah jalan, mesti budak bertuah kata, 'Car mata! Car mata! Car mata nak balik rumah Thauufiieee takkk? Nakk? Jom! Jom! Mommy, car mata nak balik rumah Thaufiieee. Kesian car mata tak boleh balik rumah Thauffieee!'.

So, one fine day, lepas KL trip, sebab dah bosan sangat kejap kejap the kecik sebut car mata, car mata, I pun pergilah mencari car mata.
We went to the VW.
Tapi.
There's no sign of the Beetle.
Rupanya dah sold out. There's no more stock as the new stock will arrive early 2012. Sedih sungguh anak teruna gua. And bila ternampak ada blue Beetle outside the showroom, cepat-cepat the kecik cakap,
: Mommy, tu ada car mata! (excited sambil lompat-lompat)
But sorry. It's not for sale. It's owns by someone else yang hantar for services. Haihh.. So, both of us, the kecik and me, (the husband tak tagged along sebab obviously he's at work, kerja jalan-jalan melawat kedai, memang aktiviti the kecik and me je lah) berjalan-jalan kat showroom VW. Kat bawah memang VW. Tapi.
Tapi dekat atas ada Ferrari. Ada Lamborghini. Ada Porsche. And some VW. Owner VW tu punya. Okayyy. Cuci mata. Ada Panamera. This is the inside of Panamera,
I'm thisssss close to buy a Passat. Disebabkan hari-hari tengok Passat yang lawa kat bawah rumah. Wife Paduka punya. Cantik! Dah la the colour tu ada 2 ke or the only one in the country. Alahaiii, lawa nyaa!
I'm looking for a car with reverse sensor sebenarnya. So, bila cekkidaut kat VW, Passat, Touareg, Tiguan, memang ada reverse sensor. Tapi Sirocco takde. So do Golf and Golf GTI. Sikit je lagi I nak ambil Sirocco or Golf GTI tu. Hahaha. Tapi sebab takde reverse sensor, kita reject. I cant remember how much are those cars tapi I still remember how much is Passat. Went to VW few times to test drive the Passat, tapi takde rezeki. Selalu sangat kunci kereta for test drive tu tak ada.
I asked the husband to go and test drive Passat with me, tapi the husband refused. Katanya sebab I kata Passat tu luar je nak cantik, dalam, alahaiiii, rasa macam cheapskate punya car. Haha. Mati gua if wifey Paduka baca ni. Tapi iye, sungguh. Dalam Passat tu, alahaii... Macam.. Is this luxury car? Macam takk je. Yang lain semua high-tech, tiba-tiba jam tu yang analog. Yes. I know you it to be more traditional look gitu, tapi cer place jam yang lawa sikit. Not some 2 ringgit jam pasar malam gitu. And bila tengok cermin atas, apa eh yang panggil, yang bila silau, kita buka benda alah tu, yang atas kepala tu, haa, yang tu lah, huh.. Plastik cap ayam. Not some high grade plastic or leather lak pendek kata.
So, no Passat.
Ada juga I tanya-tanya the Tiguan and Touareg, tapi both are sold out. Tiguan pun quite nice actually. Tapi apakan daya, takde stok.
So, we went to A.
OMG! Did I told you how much I'm in love with A? I'm soooo in love with A. Apparently I'd made my husband and my son love A too!
Berapa kali test drive A tu.. Haihhh..
And bila dah test drive A, the husband insisted to go and look for another car. He wants Lexus. Boohoo! Tapi as a wife yang menurut perintah, I went to Lexus jugak.
Balik from Lexus, konklusi, the thing I said to my husband,
: Orang kaya yang terlebih kaya sangat dah and tak tahu nak beli kereta apa je yang beli Lexus.
I think Lexus is over-priced lah. Ishhh.
Tepi Lexus is Toyota. So, we went for a test drive there. Plus I memang ada customers kat sana. So, buat appointment, terus pergilah.
Hajat hati I, nak Beetle je. Small car je haa sebab we already have the Santa Fe. Tapi bila dah sampai Toyota,
We test drive the Camry.
How come from wanting a small car turns onto big car nehh?
On the first day, tengok-tengok Camry 2.0. Time tu Toyota was having promo. Beli Camry 2.0, dapat cash rebate $2k, iPad 2, and some lucky draw yang pricenya Rolex and such. Haa.. Over kan. Sebabnya, they (Toyota) made a big sale in Camry 2.4, tapi Camry 2.0 tak berapa nak move. So, untuk balance kan sale tu, they've to make that such promo. Kalau I pun, I ambil 2.4, sebabnya 2.0 tu bukan keyless entry. Haha.
Both camry ada reverse sensor. Eh. Salah. Camera reverse sensor. Swith gear to R, and boleh usha mana-mana awek or pakwe yang duk berdiri belakang kereta kita. *evil grins*

If you're asking me, should I buy a Camry?
My answer will be,
No.
Besar memang besar.
Tapi bila duduk belakang, alahaiii, tak sedapnya. Bila lalu kat highway okay, tapi bila jalan bumpy sikit je, tak selesa lah duduk belakang. And that's Camry 2.4 tau. The husband said perhaps balancing ke apa, still, it's a no lah for me.

We went to BMW.
Homaigod, this woman must be extra crazy lah. You said you want a Beetle and why you went to the BMW showroom???!!

I want to test drive the 3 series. I'm always a big fan of 3s.
Untuk dipendekkan cerita, I went to the Beemer with the kecik. As the husband always driving the Ngian's 3s, so, the husband kata, 'Pergilah test drive 3s. Orang dah selalu bawa'. So, off we go.
The kecik, having some happy time with the tv and games,
I tengah tunggu kunci kereta masa ni and the kecik get away with all those fancy games. And other sales persons layan the kecik. Balik-balik from test drive, I tengok the kecik duk sibuk main game donut at iPhone staff Beemer tu. Bertuah punya budak. Mommy test drive kereta, you main masak-masak donut pulak ye.
And this is BMW 5 series.

Budak ni memang masuk je showroom terus buka pintu and duduk kat belakang. Baby, Mommy nak usha 3 series je. Bukan 5s.
Tapi I ter'usha' BMW 7 series sekali. Haha. Cannot help lah, sebab..

Bridex tu macam LIMA Langkawi lah. The MOD (Minister of Defense) used the Beemers during the 3-5 days of Bridex and they're selling the cars. Tell me. Can you get an almost brand new Beemer 7s with that price in Malaysia. Can? Can? Nombor dekat atas tu kali dengan 2.4. Haa,, itu lah harga 7s in here. Yang Bridex lah. For a brand new, I think it's 160-180k.
I test drive the 3s, the 5s, and the X1.
7s I tengok je. I'm still under control that I know that if I'm buying the 7s, the husband will asked me to sleep inside the car je haa. Tak payah duduk dalam rumah dah. Nak sangat kereta besar-besar kan. Plus, I can imagine myself, if my husband buying the car for me, I'll look like, some budak sekolah rendah yang kidnap kereta her grandparents car when driving the car.
Honestly, I'm a big fan of BMW 3 series. Since forever kot. Tapi.
Dah test drive, alahaii.. It's not my type lah. I've found another love. The 3s trunk is not big at all. I think our Santa Fe tu lagi besar haa. Tapi tu memang lah lagi besar sebab tu SUV and this is sedan. Still, bila I drive, memang lah sedap. Tapi for back passenger, it's not comfortable lah. Even my husband kata, bila drive memang best, tapi bila duduk belakang, it's kinda pain in ass. Sempit lah jugak. Dah lah the kecik memang duduk atas car seat. Mesti tak selesa nanti anak teruna gua tu. So, skip the 3s.
And 5s. Oh! I'm so in love with this car. Dah lah yang BRIDEX price, 5s will be only $80k. Alangkan semua stok from BRIDEX for BMW 5 series tu dah sold out, kalau tak, memang I balik rumah, and I gosok lebih lah my husband to buy me the car. Tapi dalam nak gosok-gosok tu, I still think that 5s is actually too big for me. Besar. Lebih kurang 7 series tu. Kang orang kata I ni pisau cukur some rich men pulak dah. Rich men okay lagi, what if pisau cukur some rich and old and botak and buncit men? Haa.. Takmo lah den.
I also went to Merc.
Tapi, alahai, C-Class in here is making me sad. They want to cut the cost so badly, sampai, I rasa, if I'm buying the C-Class over here, it's like, I'm just paying for the brand. Not for the car. Interior failed. Tak lawa langsung. Luar memang lah nampak awesome lah jugak, tapi dalam, alahaiii, tak semegah jenama Merc.
There's no B class anymore. Katanya tak dapat sambutan over here. I would love to have that. Time I pergi tu R-class belum sampai. Few weeks ago, lalu depan Merc, dah ada stok baru. Lawa!
And E-Class.
If someone asked me to choose between 5s or E-class, I'll choose E-class. It's so elegant. Memang padan lah dengan nama tu. Tapi. I'll look like some budak kecik inside the car. Are those cars to big or I'm the one who's too small??
And Lexus.
Nak test drive the CT200h tapi, it's not available lah pulak. The one in the showroom tu dah ada yang punya. And RX Hybrid (also hubby's favourite) tak ada yang for test drive unit. Yang kat dalam showroom pun tak ada. Sold out.
I also cekkidaut the IS. Tapi sebab recently they've update the new taxes for 300cc cars and above, so, price for IS is kinda boohhoooooo! Mahal giler! And it's not that awesome or canggih punggg. Baik beli BMW or Merc.
And,
This is A.
Test sound system.
Siapa yang suka pergi kedai accessories and upgrade their car sound system, surely will makan hati bila dengar sound system A. It's wayyyyy fantastic. Pendek kata if nak picnic tepi pantai, nak dansa dansa dengan kawan-kawan, haa, buka pintu kereta je, memang dah macam dalam club.
See, sampai the kecik pun katup telinga sebab kuat tapi it's so clear.

You see, A and P is our two short-listed car in the list.
I'm so torn between A and P.
It's a question,
Do you want a Hybrid car or Luxury car?
You tak boleh nak compare each other sebab, well, it's just not the same.
The husband, test drive the P,
Bila both of us, torn nak A or P, between Hybrid or Luxury, we're stuck.
So, the husband says, whomever called/text him first on that decision day, that'll be our choice. And guess what, A yang contact my husband first. Seronok sakan I time tu. Haha. Tapi tu lah, the setback about A is, tempat letak barang, ala, yang belakang kerusi front passengers tu, just a net. Macam kereta Merc lama-lama. I feel cheap. Tu je lah setback nya. Yang lain tu semua almost perfect.
And malam tu, the husband kata,
: Ala, nanti dah dapat A, kesianlah A. Duk kat bawah hujan panas. Rumah tak ada garage.
Boleh?
Kesian dekat kereta sebab takde garage? Bukan nak kesian kan I yang memang teringin giler nak A. Sampaikan the kecik pun dah melupakan cintanya pada Beetle, and beralih arah kepada A.
Kesimpulannya, pendek kata, memang dah nak sign agreement dah lah, memang nak ambil A dah lah, bank memang lulus dah la with few conditions, sekali, we've to say good bye for A, well for now. Husband promised me that I'll get the A next year. It's better be or I'll makan hati.
So, P lah jadi pilihan.
It's kinda sad actually tapi memang rumah kitaorg tak ada garage. Kesian dekat kereta. P takpe sebab Hybrid. Haha.
P stands for Prius.
If you guys be like us pun memang serba salah. Sebab the brand new P price is almost the same like Passat, 3s, C-Class and A semua tu lah. And same price with Lexus CT200h.
They're so kedekut when it's comes to hybrid car, taxes tinggi melampau even dah reduced the other day. Sebabnya, minyak sini murah.
So, bila the husband google, price lebih kurang with Malaysia. Ingat nak ambil from there je tapi stok 2-3 months baru sampai. Lamanyaaa! And bila google, some says, if you find a second hand Prius, bought them. It's always like brand new.
And bila customer I dekat Toyota tu offer, their company demo car, Prius, moh ler kita menadah tangan menerimanya. Haha. If demo car yang lain, tak ada nya I nak beli. Tak kuasa.
Do you know that Prius doesn't have timing-belt? I can easily switch one my Prius in the morning, and terus masuk gear D. Tak payah panaskan enjin. Hebat lah P!
The downside is, it's kinda awkward for few moments when you're driving the car.
It's so silent!
Seriously, kereta dah hidup, engin dah on, tapi senyap je. And bila first time I bawa P, (I've never test drive P, only the husband tried and I sat at the back of the car), bila sampai dekat roundabout, I tekan brek, at that time, I tot kereta tu mati tengah jalan. Sebab senyap giler. It's like you're driving manual, and bila sampai tengah bukit, you nak tukar gear, tiba-tiba tersalah tekan, and engin kereta mati. Haa, macam tu lah when you're driving Prius. Except it's not engine mati ke apa. Hidup lagi haa. Haha. Agak darat I di situ.
Disebabkan masa ambil kereta tu the husband and drove the P, and I bawa S, bila sampai rumah, I terus take over the P, the husband tak matikan engine P, so, I terus bawa P berjalan-jalan melihat alam.
Sampai dekat pasar, matikan engine, okay, lulus.
Dah beli barang, masuk dalam kereta, nak hidupkan engine, I ingat dah lulus, tapi bila nak masuk gear R, tak bergerak pulak dah kereta tu! It was 30 minutes of berpeluh, how to start the engine? Sebab tak tau macam mana engine tu dah start ke belum sebab engine tu senyap sangat. I siap called the husband and the salesperson. Last sekali, I you-tubing je.

Oh.. Darat sungguh gua. Dah biasa test drive kereta yang masukkan kunci, and terus tekan brek, and when it's comes to Prius, tekan brek ALL TOGETHER with the start button. Pfffttt.
Prius tak ada reverse sensor. Nanti nak kena tambah, S pun tak ada reverse sensor. I've been, hmm,, trauma since the case yang a teacher hit the students bila tertekan reverse gear tu, tu yang I mencari new car tu. Walhal boleh je sebenarnya nak tambah je reverse sensor kat S tu, tapi bila namanya dah mengada-ngada, memang macam ni lah.
Kalau takde demo Prius, memang kitaorang tak beli dah P ni. Will stick to A je lah. Tapi sebab kesiankan A tu nanti berhujan panas, moh ler kita beralih arah ke P.
Masa I mula-mula naik P, I kata to the salesperson,
: Wah! So senyap! It's like a toy car!
And he said,
: Yes. One expensive toy car!
Haha. True indeed.
Tapi kitaorg tunggu P tu lama sangat even it's already in the Toyota 'secret store'. Memang lama sungguh lah. Sampai dah naik fedup and nak tukar to CT200h, siap orang Lexus tu dah bodek-bodek kata next month (November) ada new stock sampai, kaler red. You can change to Lexus lah sebab the same company. Haha. Husband gua tempted je, tapi CT200h tu even harga adalah sama dengan Prius, it's not keyless entry. Trunk pun kecik je. Dalam pun sempit je. It's not worth it lah pendek kata.
Prius ni macam other luxury car tapi it's not luxury, it's hybrid. Features dalam Prius lebih kurang macam Camry 2.4.
New car in here is damn cheap. Even the interest is 4-4.5%, still, it's cheap. Most of the car without downpayment, except for the Lexus. If ada Lexus Hybrid RX, memang itu dah I ambil. Hybrid RX is way cool than the usual RX. Interior pun berbeza. Luar still looks the same except the blue logo Lexus lah.
And this is the price, as far as I remembered,
BMW 3s (Brand new)- $66k (the time I went there, they're just gv another 5k less, so, dalam $61k gitu)
BMW 3s (BRIDEX) - $58k
See, tak banyak beza kan? Baik ambil yang brand new. And for your information, BRIDEX 3s adalah the basic beemer. Tak ada lcd screen ke apa, kira dashboard yang tengah tu kosong lah.
BMW X1 - $50k if tak silap.
Tapi X1 dekat sini memang basic. Seat tu pun kena adjust manual. Bukan auto. Tak rasa macam beli Beemer lah, tapi orang tengok yang luar and the feel during you're driving, so, seat adjust tu it's not important lah for some people tapi for me, it's important lah sebab bukan murah the price are.
Camry, Passat, Beemer 3s, Merc C-class, Volvo S60, Lexus IS, price adalah lebih kurang. Dalam $58k - $68k gitu.
Dont be fool by 'kereta dekat sini lagi murah than Malaysia'.
Contoh, kereta Vios dekat sini, harga $20k, lebih kurang RM 50k, sama macam MyVi price sebabnya, interior Vios dekat sini tak sama macam interior Vios Malaysia. They've to take back some of the accessories, otherwise, if the price is wayy expensive, no one will buy new car. Still, yang dekat luar, macam LCD screen, gps, tracking and all tu je lah yang takde. The engine still the same.
Macam BRIDEX car for BMW, 3s memang berbeza (interior). Tapi for 5s and 7s, BRIDEX or new one, memang sama, tak ada beza. Yang beza, if the price tag. Of courselah yang BRIDEX tu lagi murah. It's worth it lah to buy. Bukan sekadar beli melepaskan batuk di tangga. Memang berbaloi lah.
I ada juga gi second hand showroom car just to find the Beetle. I found one. Tapi! Mahalnya! Monthly will be $700 plus sebab nya tu second hand car. Oh. Second hand car mahal yea dekat sini sebab interest bank tu will go up to 9%. Tu yang everyone looking for new car tu. Less hassle and lagi murah. Loan sama juga. It's up to you lah nak buat 2 years or 3 years or 5 years. Tapi max adalah 7 years.
And P adalah my current boyfriend lah. Kadang-kadang kesian dekat Santa Fe sebab I jarang dah bawa S. Iskk. It's okay. You'll be the husband's car, S. You see, I cant get mad at my other two boys always, sebabnya, seorang tu, if I nak berjalan naik boyfriend baru atau lama I (P or S), I always bring him along and the other one, tukang bayar for S and P. You cant get mad to the hands that feed you. Silap hari bulan dah takde tangan nak tolong bayarkan. Haaaa.. Kan naya je.

p/s I always love Volvo classic look. Design dia evergreen. Body pun solid je. Memang patut pun price dia a bit expensive than Beemer, sebab solid. It's like watching Merc yang zaman dulu-dulu tu, solid je haa.
